Hello! I have changed my mind a bit on the Michael Harding watercolors. They have some lovely colors, but still not worth raving about. I believe they will be like most brands, do some colors well. I think I'll hold off- I have Full Set Syndrome, and while I will indulge on unusual brands (A Gallo was a huge splurge, but worth it) I'd rather keep trying to find unique paints to collect and use. I think I'll spend the money on more fountain pens inks from Japan- not lightfast, but the color splitting ones (Sailor Ink Studio) make me so happy and I have a blast splashing them in my sketchbooks. Thanks for helping me decide!

You are so welcome! I wish I could help more. I have full set syndrome and comparison syndrome, sadly! Trying all of the colors and brands is incredibly fun to me. I'm trying to stick to my wish list now. I hope you find some fun fountain pen inks to try! I'm trying to hold off on any more fountain pens or inks. But, I did have to get the TWSBI Eco Caffè Bronze Fountain Pen, because I've collected almost all of them. Lol. I use them for planning and journaling. Have fun using the inks in your sketchbooks! 💗

Thanks so much, Cheryl! I don't think most would, lol! I love oil pastels because they are must faster than colored pencil, and less planning than watercolors. But, they are messy so it took me a long time to stop being scared of them, lol! The best thing is you can create any artwork with any art medium. I still love watercolors the most for sure! 💗

It's nice to know we are at the same stage! Me too, I love the fine detail on animals but I don't have the patience for trees yet. Maybe some day! Lol. 💗

Thanks so much, Shadow! Yes, that's what I love about them. Since I'm hard on myself...I tend to put things off until I think I do it perfect. LOL. Oil pastels and acrylic markers let you just have fun without planning. Watercolors are still my true love though. 💗
